Hi, I’m Nicole

Licensed Massage Therapist in Portland, OR. As a Massage Therapist & bodyworker, I hope to nurture the link between mind and body, while creating fluidity & ease within the structures that keep you stressed or in pain.

My goal is for you to come in as you are,

and leave feeling relaxed and restored.

Why

Client Centered?

Client centered means that I listen to you first, our sessions are always designed around your needs for that day. Some things I hear a lot from clients are that massages helps them relax, support anxiety relief, support injury recovery, reduce muscle tension or pain, many times due to things like long hours sitting at a desk, daily activities, stress of the world etc etc.

Massage can help support getting you back to your best self.

My style as a practitioner is always guided by listening to you and what you are working through- the muscles and structures that may be tight, pulling, or stuck due to stress, anxiety, injury, or simply being a human in 2025.

For whatever the reason, this discomfort can lead to even more stress. It’s a pain to be in pain!

Are you trauma-informed?

While I am trained in Trauma Informed bodywork, and aim to practice from a Trauma Informed perspective, I recognize that none of us are completely trauma-informed, and everyone’s trauma presents different needs. I practice with the intention to create a safe(r) space for all bodies, genders, and identities.

We will always touch base and chat when you arrive and make any adjustments you need to feel comfy and relaxed during your massage. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me before booking if you have any questions. (Also, see FAQ’s for more details about my space etc).

I do not subscribe to any one particular massage theory or modality. Instead, I listen to you and your body and pull from many techniques that may work best for you and your body in that particular session.

Spa Treatments as Nervous System Support?

In addition to different massage modalities, I highly value the use of stress-reducing tools for nervous system and tension reduction- like Aromatherapy, dry brushing, scrubs, steams, the healing quality of heat, etc- commonly referred to in a bodywork settings as Spa Treatments, -to help your body settle into it’s natural parasympathetic state.

Many of these tools have been categorized in the West as Spa Treatments in recent years, but they have been used for thousands of years by many different cultures to cultivate stress reduction, pain management, and to help increase quality of life.
